Krisha's Moment

This is my younger sister, Krisha Anne Lim, singing Alone originally sung by an 80's era band, Heart. She cherry picked the song because she's pretty comfortable with it. She's sung this a million times. :LOL: This is her audition piece for Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2.

I hope she gets through to the next round. She's keeping the whole family on our toes but we're keeping our fingers crossed, plus, we have major major faith on her!

Kiss You Goodnight by Laura

Hiyah! This is a song that usually played in our office (in my previous company). It's called Kiss You Goodnight (that's what google and yahoo ask said) but some label this song Kiss Your Lips. One thing is certain, though, it's sung by a mysterious artist that goes by the name Laura. I don't have any idea who she was. Tried to Google her but I can't find any history, picture, whatsoever.  If you know the artist please comment below because I'd really love to get to know her better and she sounds great! I have a strange feeling that she's a Filipino, though, because every article/web pages that I've visited that contains details about this song are Filipino forums.

Moving on.. The tune was catchy so I Googled it. Mind you, it wasn't easy than I thought it would be. Talk about frustration! Anyways, with the help of Mr. Google and Mr. Yahoo, I was able to finally find the title and the lyrics of the song. Next step? Download it, of course.

Started Googling again and Limewiring, Bearsharing, Ariesing and more Googling but alas, no MP3 for this song anywhere! Then I went to consult Dr. Youtube and it was there, but it was a video, of course. The video was made by a fellow Filipino and it contains nothing but a picture of his hand and the lyrics flashing. So what I did was Google again a video to audio converter. I must've kept a clover in my pocket because I was able to find this site:

It's an online video to audio converter and it was really handy to just paste the URL of the video from Youtube to the site. It converts, then  voila! You download the audio version of that video in MP3 format in seconds! Technology makes life a lot less frustrating, isn't it? 

So finally, I was able to obtain the audio file of Kiss You Goodnight or Kiss Your Lips by Laura and I listened and sang along with it the entire day.  I got so inspired so I made a slide video of us (me and my husband) with this song in the background, and I thought I could share it..

To start with..

Konnichiwaaaa! 

They say the first blog is the most essential, because it sets the mood and the direction of a blog. However, the thing is, I don't have a particular audience to market my blog to. This is kind of a personal journal to me. Doesn't really matter which way this blog goes, so long as I don't run out of ideas on what to blog about. I know you find this boring, and I do too, but I'm supposed to be "obliged" to do this. 

To kick things off, I prefer not to publish my real name, as it isn't going to be of any help to this blog because nobody would ever dare to google my name anyway.  Anyhow, my friends call my Jen but I use the nick name Honej for my online stuff. I don't have any job, which is cool!  I'm married with no offspring yet. I would love to have one, but I don't want one yet. Ironic, isn't it, but life is a paradox so let's not worry about that. Im bored of me, so moving on to the next level.. 

Why am I doing the blogging? I say, why not? I've got nothing else to do, and sharing is love.  Just wanted to share whatever I may encounter in my daily, restless life, and who knows, i might be able to make sense on some souls through this.  Like I said, I'm not gonna be blogging about a particular topic. Just anything my brain juice can produce.
